Call Recorder for Skype - Record Conversations and Interviews App Reviews

Doesn’t save any calls…. useless...

The app is not working properly anymore. Few months ago it stopped supporting group call recording, now it also does not record any skype calls at all. The exception is the phone calls from skype. Support does not reply any e-mails. It was quite good initially, now it would be a waste of money.

I’ve bought the app for 9,99 euro and don’t know for what - the app doesn’t work. Where are the contact info og developer?

Pressed “record”, icon changed, but after the call there was no recording. OS X 10.11.5, Skype 7.29

This program stopped working last week. It is still supported or is it zombie software these days?

It worked only once, when I installed it. Afterwards I wasn’t able to record an important conference call. I couldn’t find any support on any website.

If $10 is worth it for a few uses, then go for it. Otherwise, don’t. Stopped working just before I had to interview someone for a story I’m writing. Very inconvenient!

This app ONLY RECORDS THE AUDIO TRACK of Skype conversations! Of what use if a Skype recorder that only records audio? Also, if you lose the connection, be sure to restart the recorder. Otherwise, the recorder shuts off automatically. There’s an on/off button, a listing of recordings and settings are limited to “Start on System Startup”, "Show in Menu Bar”, and “Show Icon in Dock”. This was not money well spent.

I’ve tried a couple of times now. And the recording is completely gone. I check during the call, and the recorder is going. If the Skype call ends, no recording. I tried stopping the recorder before the Skype conversation ended, and it’s no different. No recording.

Used to work great. Now I get no response from it. Guess they are done updating and I am out of luck and back to square one. So frustrating.

Downloaded it one week ago. I’ve launched it several times and tried to record. It has failed every time. Looking to get my money back.

I bought the app. It worked on the first day of the download. However it has not worked ever since. How can I get a refund?

May be my mistake for not catching this that there is no Skype for Business yet on Mac and it is still Lync. I bought this thinking it would work w/ Lync that I use at work. So I ended up buying this for no reason ;-(. It would be good if you can support Lync for business users or put a big warning that it is yet supported.

I should have listened . . . the app opens and the buttons function, but no recording whatsoever.

this software doesn’t work with the current version of skype and instead of telling me to downgrade my skype I actually want my $10 back, and the app should be taken down from App Store until this is resolved

When the recording is active, I cant hear the other side anymore myself, which ofcourse makes the application completely useless!

This is the perfect app for business. We do a lot of Skype calls with our international clients and being able to record them is ideal. Now we can focus on the call instead of having to take notes.

Tottally worth the money better than any third party software out there!
